As the sun caresses the landscape it creates marvelous colors and textures. This image was taken at the "Painted Hills" in central Oregon. ..........................Thanks to all the many wonderful folks out there that have expressed their wishes for my speedy recovery .

Beautiful shot Michael! Thank you for sharing this with us! I love your painted hills photo's that you've posted so far and this one is very good! I saw some hills very similar to this in Israel when I went there last month. I posted one but the ratings weren't so good ;) I'm sure this one as usual with your beautiful foto's will make top new images :)

Terrific timing on taking this shot. The way the light plays across the curves brings the "painting" to life.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Such a beautiful photo. I still want to visit those painted hills. Maybe in the upcoming year I will be improved with my own health and be able to go eh? I would love to see them in real. Michael, yur photos always make me yearn over those places. I am hoping you are improving nicely since your surgery. Just rest rest rest...even when you get sick of it, do it anyway...drink nice warm herbal teas...spoil yourself a bit...and let others spoil you too...V
