I took a trip last weekend to photograph in the farm area around Pullman Washington and visited one of my favorite places. It didn't disappoint me. Everything was just magical. The birds were singing, the flowers blooming and the quiet was palpable. The purple flowers are a members of the legume family commonly called Vetch.

Oh Ive been to Pullman too...some fantastic quiet there..are these colours touched up at all? what is the purple? I love the brightness of it all...and the fence line...makes one want to just sit somewhere and "listen to the quiet"....a lovely shot for sure!!

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

Before I went to school in Pullman for seven years, I thought there was nothing much out there. One just needs to know where to look, and it seems to me that you've found one of the "hidden" treasures of the Palouse.

I don't understand the index and the number of downloads. It is a very good picture. Your area must be fantastic to travel and take pictures. Thanks for including us.

Wow. it looks like someone was running across these hills with buckets of paint, tripped and spilled the contents. This is almost surreal. The buildings nestled quietly into the hillsides are a lovely touch. So is the fence post in the foreground.. The dark green trees in the background as opposed to the one bright green bush by the febce post is a study in contrast. Very well done. But then, none of us would expect anything but "well done" from you.

My only brush with Pullman was on an old B&O coach. I must get out there and see if this place really exists! Until then I will enjoy your work.
