This is another image taken in the Painted Hills of Central Oregon. I've been out of circulation for the last few days. My computer gave it up and I'm just now getting everything back in order..... I hope you enjoy!

Beautiful form and light. This area near your home reminds me of the painted desert in southern Utah and Arizona.

Really unusual colours in this shot Michael. It would definately be a destination I went back to over and over if I lived close enough!

Very pretty shot. The lighting is just right! The colors in the hills and the vegetation in the foreground are very nice.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Amazing Place to Visit. I think this is the best photo I have seen of the area. It is amazing how each visit it seems as if the hills have been repainted. Great work

I'd put you right up there with Ansel Adams on this one! Even if it is in color. What a beautiful work of art! It's a great treat to see such rich use of lights and darks, colors and textures, all working together in a beautiful swirling composition. Wow! God made some pretty wonderful stuff out there for us to photograph, didn't He? Definitely a 10/10 and one of my favorites.
