Everthing is blooming and these water lillies no exception. They were shot using a #2 softening filter. I like to play with my camera using different effects that can be achived with using filters and off-camera fill flash.

OH HOW LOVELY! I just adore waterlies and their pads...I just wish I could paint them better! I try but wow...those petals are hard to do..but YOU have captured them all just perfedtly!! I need to go driving and find some of "my own" lol...the colour of these is just so pretty...I like the softening effect, but I think I still prefer them in their "untouched" state. Wonderful photo!!!!

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

I have always thought of lily ponds as the place of water sprites and fairy tales...with that in mind, the soft, dreamy effect here is just right and reinforces that illlusion...beautiful work, and top marks and favs.:Pat.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

This is almost too fantastic to be real. So soft, but the colors really pop out. 10/10 and another for the favorites.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
