A little different angle on this Crocus. I decided to get up close and personal with the center of the flower.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

You did a great job with this! I wonder how much editing did you do? I wish I could grow flowers this beautiful in my yard, but I guess I will only get to enjoy them on my desktop. Thanks for sharing the image!

So beautiful, pretty color, the framing makes this so much more prettier and pervents my icons from being placed over the flower. This is going into my favorites.

Dynamic color and great composition. I like the framing as well. I do find
the whitish blur around the yellow stamen alittle disconcerting though. My
eye follows the detailed lines of the petal down to the stamen and is distracted
by the contrasting blur. Just me. And in close ups I know its hard to hold all
the detail. Thanks Eric eyeyes
