The branches of a tree are covered in a thick layer of frost, which developed on them during the night, from a fog coming off the Columbia River. The fog then dissipated, as the day dawned, leaving us a wonderful contrast of the frost against a deep azure sky.

Such simplicity is soooooo wonderful! Those two colours are always perfect together!! I know that icy//snowy look on the trees...in the winter ..here....crisp, cold....brrrrrrr...great shot!
