This old fence image was taken near Joseph Oregon, in the Hell's Canyon area. It is interesting because it make one stop and ponder what life must have been like in that area when this fence line was new. The only remaining part of the fence line is this small section, a testimony to the strength of those who passed this way before.

Because of both your perspective and the fence leaning in both directions there's not an angle that isn't covered here. The grass is a lovely, simple color that doesn't interrupt. Beautiful picture.

I love the old fences. We plan to bring some wood from old fences home from camp one day and do the front yard in rustic!

I love these old fences too.. We had one in our yard till some kid came around the corner too fast, and hit it.. Poor old thing just shattered.. Thanks for giving me another to one look at..

Nice to see a good vertical picture. Hopefully this one does as well as it deserves even though its in that format.

The best thing well not the best thing is that the image isn't perfectly in the middle. When everyone does that it begins to be very typical. But other than that, the image is very nice to be on a desktop.

I really like the structure within this photo. I can feel the warmth of the golden grain as well as imagine the hard work that went into building that fence so many years ago.
