Washington wheat fields are about to witness some dramatic atmospherics. Later Thunderstorms rolled through, dropping little rain but giving quite an aerial display of lightning. Thunderstorms this late in the summer can really wreck havoc in these dry land farms as they spark many fires. One of which can wipe out a whole years work of toil and sweat and the hopes of a generous harvest.

Wow.......................................
The Contrast of the browns and the blues is absalutely fantastic... and the patterns and shadows in the fields go perfectly with the patterns of cloud.
There is just a tiny bit of noise in patches under the clouds, which could easily be removed, but it doesnt really matter.
What A Brilliant photo!.

Wow ... really, really ... wow.

So so rich. The colours, and the drama of this image are incredible.

The colour in the soil add some nice contrast and and furrows play upon the furls in the clouds. Try saying that fast twice ... kidding. I do like the detail present in the ground to slightly offset that 'wow' factor in the sky though.

This image leaves me speechless ... and I could look at for a long long time. And that ... is one of my highest compliments.

Spectacular photo.

On your profile, where it says 'Quality Assurance Lead', are you sure that's not code for 'Young budding photographer'?! Your work is all fantastic - I apologise that I'm not commenting on more, but I'll get round to it later - there's so much!
Anyway, I love the swirling clouds and the detail in both the landscape and the sky, with the shadows on the ground giving it more depth, as it shows us the true scale of those monstrous clouds! Keep 'em coming!
