The clarity and composition of this photo is unbelievable. You have certainly outdone yourself with this one. She is gorgeous and I'm glad she's not looking in my direction LOL
A very fine post indeed- thank you.

There's something more unique than the focus ...it's a lion with it's mouth shut. Normally there is an impalla leg dangling out of it. Really neat how you emphasized that the attention is on the lion by putting everything fore and aft of her in a blur. I'll have to remember that one...providing I could ever figure out how to do it.
Great capture Michael.

..everything works well together in this image, background, blurred grass, perfect framing and the unusual angle. In other words - an excellent, well composed shot ! .

This is stunning and I love how you have framed it. The background adds interest but does not distract from the photo. One of my favorite new images. I want to see more wild animals coming from you.

It almost appears to me that the last meal is still sitting in the grass?
What a beauty!

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)

Hi there Michael...I am sure glad you were not on the menu as her next meal....lol
The composition here is rather unique yet is works well with the framing that you did. I would be interested in knowing if you did the blurring while shooting her or in post-editing. I am trying to gather a few photography tricks up my sleeve, but as yet, I really don't have many. Hope this find you and DiAnn doing well and both recovering nicely. Thanks for sharing this pretty kitty cat with us :~)
