Took this last fall when I was desperate to photograph everything I could before my back surgery took me out of the game for a while.

I've had back surgery as well so I can understand about being "out of commission". This is a beautiful image. Lovely detail and color. So crisp and clear.

I like the wet look of the pink flower thriving with colour... So gorgeous! Pin sharp macro - one I would never be able to take with my camera. The yellow things inside look like smaller flowers.

Very lovely - the stamens do look like a crown :) and the moisture on the petals is the 'crowning glory' Perfection :)

As you can see, I'm learning about images - I now know what a "macro" is :) And this is gorgeous. Such a captivating beauty. Really find that "crown" interesting - like a small flower inside. Like the dew/drops on this. Lovely frame with the matching pink. Excellent job..thanks!

What a fantastic macro. It looks as though the stamen are invaders instead of part of the flower- You never cease to amaze me with your photography Michael.

This is so gorgeous, but for the first time ever since I've seen your photos, I dont especially think that green background does the flower justice. I am not sure what I would prefer, but the green is toooooooo green...lol , other than that is absolutely a gorgeous shot of the flower...It looks like Echinacea...the herb..

It does look like a crown. I like the framing but that green takes away from the image.A white or pale violet maybe or even black but the flower is well done!

Beautiful Michael! The yellow in the center reminds me of forsythia blooms! What sweet detail you have on the center of this blossom......the flower is almost magenta in color. Very good choice for this capture. Well done once again my friend :~)
