I saw this image along I-90 doing 75 MPH on my way to Seattle three weeks ago. I took the next exit and found a farm road that took me close enough to get a few shots before having to hit the road again...... I hope you enjoy.
Wonderfully vibrant colours and I love the way the trees are razor-sharp but their reflections are truly watercolours - as in paints. That cloudless blue sky really complements the trees. So glad you took a detour and captured this. Magnificent!
you just never know where you'll find something you want to photograph. it's a good thing you got off the freeway! the bluish water and the beautiful red/yellow/orange trees are simply magnificent. the reflection is amazing.! jen
a great image Michael^^ such awesome fall colors, never tire of it^^ like the deep blue of the lake versus the blue of the sky. wonderfull contrast between the forest and its reflection^^
Oh goodie, another post from you. Glad you doubled back and captured this. This is rich. No wonder it caught your eye. Those lake reflections are marvelous. Hopefully, you have some more of these.

Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
That is a fabulous shot! The stillness of the water, acting as a mirror and the intense colors. Beautiful. It would do well for more of us to get off of I-90! Thank you!
The colors are intense. That water is royal blue! A lovely find. Maybe stopping to view mother nature took you out of harm's way briefly. Seventy five mph? I'm surprised it caught your eye as you were rushing by! LOL A beautiful shot. Well worth the stop.
Well done, a very stunning post. The reflections are awesome and the colors are wonderful. Thanks for making the effort to get this beautiful capture and sharing it with our community.

Absolutely stunning shot of this gorgeous scenery.Technically I think it's perfect and your framing sets it off very well. Makes an amazing DT. Thanks!
Hi Michael, so glad you are back again, treating us with these exceptional and brilliant photos! This is really extraordinaire in every possible way! The colors are unbelievable, all earthly bound under that fantastic sky of blue, and then seen again, as it is reflected in the water, how beautiful, simply beautiful Mike, Sincerely, Marilyn
A splenderific capture - I'm glad you took the exit :) The view is exquisite. Such clarity and composition is meant to be admired. The colours are beyond beautiful, and the reflections mirrored in that clear lake are splendid. Wow, the sky and that lake are extremely blue. This is a magnificent desktop view and a definate keeper! Thanks Michael, for this ultra gorgeous sight :^>

This is marvellous. Gorgeous shot. Those reflections are amazing and the colours breathtaking. Thank you for having interrupted your journey to show us this beauty!
Now, I know I have just found my favourite wallpaper for this season. The colors will keep me warm and cheerful during dark and wet fall days to come. If I could only suggest - the efect would more than perfect if you managed to show more of the mountains in the distance.
I'm way behind in my comments but I'm posting this message to let you know that I have viewed this image and found it to be very nice. I've enjoyed viewing this photo. Thanks for posting it.

I have a special affinity for autumn. Maybe because I'm a September baby (Sep. 22). I seem alive when the leaves begin to turn, and that sky is autumn blue (a blue no other sky ever gets). This is a beautiful photo.
Michael, I'm realtively new on Caedes and I just ran across this one. Just great and thought I would tell you so. I put it into favorites. Everyone else has given you all the technical reasons why, I just wanted to say it really pleased my eye and mind.
This is about as clear, and unblemished as they come. Vivid, bright, colorful and so rich in tones. Could've sworn I'd already commented on this. +faves
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
