You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Wow, this is breathtaking! Luckly we have these gorgeous flowers to hold our interest until spring. The delicate fringed petals lead us to the inner colors and those beautiful purple buds waiting to burst open. Good naturel background and the framing is lovely for these beauties. Thanks Michael for bringing a bit of spring to us :*))
What a delightful and unique flower you captured for us Michael! It s wonderfully photographed as well. Are these in the orchid family? I love the distinct coloring and markings. I, too, am so ready for Spring. My husband just said yesterday that he is done with winter and wants to see green!! Thanks for sharing these with me ;=)

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
I sure can relate to that feeling Michael! I'm beginning to be on the same street ! lol
I do love these soft looking flowers, are they of the lily family? or orchids? The little purple ballies...buds...are precious...would make a grand canvas painting! Verena
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
