In Maui, they don't celebrate daylight savings, so the sun is completely set by about 6:45 in late summer. The fantistic sunset is followed by an amazing, dark starry night. Then you can sit on the beach to look at, and marvel at the Milky Way above the dark crashing Pacific waves!

The picture is nice. I think I would have prefered to see more of the sunset it seems as though the palm tree is in the way. but the colors are amazing and the sky is beautiful. Nice Shot.
