Took this one during a recent photo excursion to visit local waterfalls. This particular capture was under a bridge at the trailhead to Franklin Falls, located on the south fork of the Snoqualmie River. The bridge created some quite dramatic lighting on the river. Camera: Canon PowerShot G5 Focal length: 28.8mm (35mm equivalent 144mm) Aperture: f8.0 Exposure: 1/2 sec

The waterfall is gorgeous, but I almost like the rocks better. They look like satin...washed with the water...its a fantastic photo....bravo!!

This c-index is not right. The image is perfect - I can find nothing wrong with it, and a lot of things right with it. You organized your shot with the water flowing from top right to bottom left - very artistic; You lengthened your exposure to smooth out the water's flow; You got a perfectly clear and crisp shot, and the dark tones really add punch to the image. Furthermore your choice of a vertical format is the icing on the cake. I'd even like to see this one in B&W, though it's really fine the way it is.

I have photograhed this waterfall several times and I must say that this is better than any of mine. 10 and in my favorites.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Great shot. I don't think it's really suitable for a desktop due to the orientation, but still a great example and certainly worthy of a place in the Water gallery...

Don't you hate it when you get those great pics but they're not in landscape orientation? It's a beautiful shot.
