Wow, this is really the first picture i've seen that comes close to giving the full feeling that you when you're really there (i think cuz of the fog). Man, that's a really nice picture! What state or country is this in?
WoW. This is an amazing shot! the color of the water is beautiful and I love the mountainscape, I like how the sun is shining on one part of the lake making it a brighter blue than the rest. Just an amazing picture! 10/10 and into my favorites :)
This is a terrific photo. I feel like I could walk right into the screen and be there. What a fantastic experience this must've been. 10 for sure. This will make an awesome desktop. Excellent job! :)
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"
Yes beautiful Banff. One of the worlds most beautiful and mesmerizing tourist traps!! Well looking beyond the main street in Banff that park does have breath taking views. I've been there and I could spend days there just marveling the beauty of nature. I did take quite a few pictures while I was there, but they all pale in comparison to your capture. Just gorgeous and I agree with people who commented on your image making you feel as though you are there, well its true!! ^_^
That would make a beautiful desktop picture (which is the point, I know, but a good deal of great pictures don't work well as desktops after all). The blue haze over the crystal blue lake is gorgeous. Simply wonderful.
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
That is something beautiful, wow. There is a lake in Canada's Rockies that is glacial like this. It could be steaming hot outside and no one will swin in it. It's so cold that it's unbearable. Mountain lakes are so stunning, and you've captured this fantastically. Cheers............Amaris
I first saw this photo in 2003 when I was 13 (I even commented way back then), and I must say it's still one of my favorite pictures of all time. Really, it's beautiful--nice work.
A little late in commenting on this photo, but it's brilliant. I've seen so many versions of this photo before but it's always great to see a different version.
And just to clarify, it is Moraine Lake, not Lake louise.
Thanks for this superb picture
