Fantastic shot! My goal is to get the swans doing that, lol. Did you wait for that pose, or was it fluke?

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Good morning
Look at the feet, just in contact with the water! The dash of movement in the water where they are beginning to break the surface. The timing is impeccable. And even with the movement, the frame has been kept in position. Good composition.

What a capture! You are a true master of stop-action photography. I love to look at this kind of imagery.

This is beautiful, Phillip - nice and crisp, and captured at the perect moment - just before touchdown. Too bad it wasn't a male, eh? No really your patience paid off on this one. I'm sure this represents the tip of the iceburg - you probably spent an hour or two waiting for this to happen, and you got it perfectly.

Now this is what I call a great capture. Amazing clarity on the body but blurry on the tip from the fast movement. Perfectly framed and balance with the water background. 10/10 and my newest favorite. Great job.

Philip....I wonder how I missed this when you posted it? I just saw it in the permanent images on the front page. Wow, what a timely capture. I call this "stop action" at it's best! I love the feet just skimming the top of the water. The wings are almost at a right angle to this goose. This is very well done. Thank you for your patience so you could bring us this excellent capture!!!! Right into my favorites on my hard drive. :~)
