Nice capture Philip. I would have said this was a Chicadee but I guess that is a common error on my part to describe a small bird with black and white on the head. You must have invested some time to catch this shot from a hide? It is unusual for me to see the golden color on the body. The diagonal perch makes a nice composition here. Good job:-)

This is an amazing close-up. Every detail of every feather is apparent. Great color and consistent lighting make the photo perfect.

Tits and chickadees are closely related...

It does indeed resemble the black-capped chickadees I used to see around my house when I lived in Ohio. Such a cute little fellow! Agree with all the above comments - this is a wonderful shot.

Love this photo, Its in my favorites now :) We have got some blue Tits nesting in a box just outside our back door, we watch them taking grass into it last year there was one baby, they are so cute. To quick to photograph though.
