Pretty colors, vast landscape, wonderful light and shadow. Compared with the similar picture that comes standard on most of our computers, this one is far better!

What a spectacular landscape. You've captured the afternoon light perfectly. The cloud shadows add interesting shapes to the verdant hills. Nice photo, my friend.

Don’t mail this to Billy, sell it to him! Love those rolling hills especially when they have those cloud shadows that seem to add an air of mystery to the scene.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Hello Philip....This is a fabulous picture....A great landscape makes you want to be there, and what photographer would'nt want be in these hills. The large depth of field has given a zone of sharp focas from front to back, and the sky has detail and colour to balance the picture...Well done.....Mick.

I wish that it fit the screen without the border, otherwise a very nice pic.

I agree with all the comments about the beauty of this image, makes me want to go there. I wonder if you could improve it with some reframing/cropping. The texture and hue of that close foreground, the bog cotton (love that phrase), is very different to the middle span of hills, so if the photo had more of the bottom texture, then the middle rich green band, then the upper sky band, that might be an interesting three span contrast, or just cropping out the bottom bog cotton section so it's one third brilliant green hills and two thirds gorgeous blue sky.
The colours are rich and you've made the whole thing look *better than reality*. Great work.

That's a pretty epic landscape. I'm always surprised when I can see a large open space without a human presence. Well done!
