They use this fly to lower air-conditioning units down onto rooftops .. yes? ... That is why the shot is so clear? .. because it is big, holds a crew of 8? .. the door is on the other side?

Boy that is one close fly. I hope you got this thing's first name, one should always get the first name of something you get this intimate with, right? It is perfect, nature is completely amazing and mysterious and you catpured that reality quite well here. I have set it as my desktop background and every few minutes I keep closing all my windows to try to study this insect, it is very engaging!
