I kind of like this image and the reason is the light balance. There is a good deapth in the petals due to the shadows and thats the key I see. Good job.

Hi David. I love the variations of the light on this beautiful blossom. The color is very intense both in the petals and in the center. You did a good job of keeping the background quieter in color so the flower itself is accentuated. Thanks ;~)

It really is a photo. The first moment I saw this I thought it was a computer manipulation. But this truely is a flower so intense in colours, so juicy and without the slightest imperfection. Unbelievable.
