I could have bet it was from you Pierre! lol. I'm not an expert of those type of shot, but I think it's really good. the light is great, a good composition and balance for the subject, and this green behind is a very nice contrast for the bird. And it's so clear... very professional looking! another great one Pierre!^^

Agree with Lucy...this is a great shot...10/10. Hehe...not only is this little fellow plump, he also seems to be lord of all he surveys.

Wow, 10+ and into the faves! Were you force feeding this bird and had to stick him on the branch.hehe A great capture Pierre. The diffused background draws wonderful attention to the bird. One word of advice...keep the birdy pictures coming;-)

I love the word "Plump", and I love the word "Chaffinch" even more... don't know why. Oh, the photo is good too :-) Wonderfully clear, and a great green backdrop.

A simple composition sometimes works best. The subtle colors and great diffused background makes this piece really work well Pierre. The borders you added difine the view well too.
