Excelent color contrast, one of the best flower pictures i have seen because first off the flower is beautiful, the picture is sharp and clear and the color contrast with a background makes it a 10 for me great work.

i had never realized that the orchids were so beautiful... i must agree.. it sure is a queen. :) and this shot is astonishing! all those details and colours, i give up, orchids are my favourite flowers from now on!! :) i'm speechless, pierre.. :o)
and it reminded me of my mother.. it was posted on mother's day.. and my father bought a bouquet of orchids for her on their wedding day, so she always says that she adores orchids.. now i know that they *are* strikingly beautiful... so is this image... marvellous!
