This is a nice photo, Pierre. I like the clarity and detail of the flower - the blues are nice. The background is sufficiently blurred to not be too distracting. However I would like to see slightly more of the flower and less grass. I quite like the composition though.

Thank you Matthew. We were in the mountains during july and there were just a few gentians yet. When you trek with a group, it's not easy to stay 5 minutes to take a photo... ;-)

Really nice capture Pierre! I would maybe try and blur the grass straws in the lower right corner. They distract somewhat but it's not a big deal.
