so much details and awesome light (it's like little stars) in this ice crystal. a gorgeous capture Pierre. a true jewel, but then again Nature will always do better than the best jeweller^^.

Ahhhh, I really like the interplay of blues, silvers and light sparkles in the ice. Wonderful details, impressive clarity. However the space between the bottom of the icicle and the bottom edge of the photo is a bit too much for my eye.

Great choice of DOF here. The light captured in the ice really sets this off. Saw this on Page 1, so congrats. With the size limits lifted, is this something you'd post without the black background?
