A beautiful image that must be seen at fullsize to feel the power of this image. Excellent exposure and tonal quality. Good job.

You played well. I love how this arches into the light to show it's more delicate features. I half expect a bunny to pop out at me. ;) favs&winter slideshow which is turning into one beautiful show!

Pierre your shots are always crisp and clear, and this one is no exception. Great work placing colors against the snow. I almost wish I had snow to work with, buuuuut maybe not ;-)

I'm a warm weather fan, so I don't shoot many winter photos. Why should I when there are way above average images to kook at right here. This image deserves a 20 but I can only give it ten. Maybe the site police won't be looking and I can vote twice. Oh, and it’s my desktop wallpaper and into my favorites

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

wow! a very crisp, sharp image... I'd love to be there. It would be great to have a change from the never changing sunny then instantly rainy weather here in hawaii :) do you mind if i ask you what camera you are using for these shots?

I'd have to dissagree. Snow is always welcome as long as it comes in alot. Its just the cold that isn't welcome. Wonderful image.

Giving this one high marks because of the way you caught the light and shadows, and also the exposure is just right, which can't have been easy with so much light and contrast.
