amazing, yet again. you managed to capture each time a different world. colors are so vivid here and look at those gorgeous twisted trees. it create a unreal motion, making them seem alive.
Amazing photography Pierre! Was this taken in an overcast sky? I love the right hand tree that creates a great anchor for the rest of the image:) Magical!
Amazing that all the trees have the same 'J' shaped root formation. This gives the forest a completely different look. I also like the way you captured the moss and lichen on the tree trunks. The lighting is superb as well. It looks really neat. Thanks Pierre :))
Woohoo! Many thanks for the nice comments !!!
Yes, Darryl. The sky was cloudy, but we were in a magical fog who gived a surreal ambiance. In the afternoon, the fog disapeared and also this strange feeling.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.

Very good capture in a place where I wouldn't want to take my camera out. I hate getting it wet. That is why you have a picture I'm commenting on and not the other way around.
Ok, a small confession ... I am going to cheat a little and put this into my favourites and cheat you out of some words as I must go soon. I couldn't resist just that one ... more.
Ohhh, the colours ... so so nice. And I absolutely love the growth of the trees trunks in this image. I shall be back ... and until then ... thank you for sharing your wonderful work.
I went thru your gallery several days ago but somehow I missed this one or it wasn't in there. Boy, you have standing right there in the forest. So realistic a view. I'm wondering (maybe others have asked this question but I cannot take time to read all the comments right now) why did those tree trunks grow in in a curved fashion like that?
Pat
Oh!!! Another rain forest picture.....one of my very favorites! As always, this is totally superb and perfect in every way. Don't you just love the different colors of greens? 10!
