Good choice! Beautiful presentation. Detail in the stem hairs is dramatic. Pretty wildflower and my preferred angle.

Tres bonne photo Pierre.Points fort:Bonne presentation,l'arriere plan rehausse le sujet principal belle couleurs vives.
Cependant une petite critique,il manque de profondeur de champs aux petales exterieurs
F22ou 32 aurait amelioré grandement
je conclut avec un 9 pour cet excellent travail.

Good contrast in colors, great composition, and yes the stem is very focused. I wish the flower was as focused. When I look at it I'm drawn to the stem. Work on the DOF. Good shot.

Pierre, this is lovely and I would have to agree with Doc on this one, the flower is not as sharp as the stem! None the less I give it top scores!

Agree with Don. But, as you know, the light in the underwood is weak and when I leave for a 15 miles trek, I can't take a tripod with me... Speed 1/30 sec and aperture 3,5: not the best for a large DOF...
