I would be happy to put the effort into it, if I could only live there.. What a lovely meadow... That forest looks deep and mysterious.. What a wonderful image.. When do I move in????

How amazing the contrast is between the HUGe amount of forest and the small size of the cottage..it must have been so beautiful at one time...and now we still get to view it....this photo gives such a warm feeling...thank you Pierre for posting this....its awesome

Going barefoot is the gentlest way of walking, and can symbolize a way of living. It's the feeling of enjoyment beneath our toes...it removes the barrier between us and nature...(AdeleCoombs,Barefoot Dreaming)

Looks like someone has moved to the city, why they would want to is beyond me. Lovely image. Thanks Dwight.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. -Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Ah, the stories it must have within it's walls, the sounds of generations now quiet. Wonderful picture. Thank you for sharing.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs, then it’s possible that you don’t fully understand the situation.

It looks like a lot of hard work might have been put into clearing that dent in the forest.
A tranquil scene with a touch of melancholy. Nicely done.

What a nice shot! So much depth and such clarity! The cottage looks like it could've been a nice home but not anymore! I like the forest surrounding it also, nice shot! If you don't mind answering me, what's the name of the camera you use?

Such a romatic and beautiful place. I have seen your other work and find such depth of different feelings, lots of them haunting. Very special work you do.

Another photo that begs for more information. I wonder what the story for this home was. I would be more comfortable with a setting up the hill a piece. If there were scoundrels in the woods they'd be to close to the back door for my comfort.
