Great shot with the bicycle there. How did you manage to get just one? (lol). I like the perspective.

Nice city landscape and of course very charactristical of Amsterdam. What caught my attention in this photo full of different details is the skew lantern.

Hello Pierre! Its always wonderful to see a posting of yours. I love the bike, and I assume it is yours? the stones on the road and the quiet of the whole scene is wonderful done in the sepia tones. There is always something magical about seeing reflection in water... And seeing those lampposts and one being crooked, well, that sure gives this photo a reality touch...A most lovely lovely photo my friend!...........verena

In this one I like the perspective as the buildings angle off down the curve of the canal and around the bend. The bike is a great piece to break up the lines in the foreground

Love the tonal qualities of the black+white ... I think I shall be a glass maker in this town ..

funny that everybody would be so eager to see outside when their view only goes to the next neighbor's window

oh .. I get it now .. ;o)

well done, Pierre. This is timeless. It could've been taken yesterday, or 50 years ago. There also seems to be just the slightest hint of a warm tone.. filter on the lens, or post-production?

My only nitpick is the crop. I think I might've preferred either a slightly wider shot, to include the peak of the roof in the foreground (right side), or a tighter crop, and completely eliminate the sky altogether.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
