Hey Pierre....just caught this one coming up on my screen!....it is a brilliant b&w shot of the bridge....I summise it is of the one of the many 'waterways' that inhabit Belgium!....you have captured this at a brilliant angle...the eye follows the other bridges way, way into the distance...and the compostion is 'spot - on!'....well done my friend.......Bob

Hi Pierre. exellent photo. i really wish the whole of that nice old bike was in the pic though, i think it would add an lot to the composition and structure... maybe zoom out a little and angle the frame to the right a tad. if only it was your bike...(maybe it was!) then it might be good just to the left of the center. i love the composition as it is with the repeating bridges, and the boat in the distance!
just some thoughts...

Just like your other pictures from your Amsterdam series, this one is magnificent. The black and white work perfectly , you could use any picture to illustrate an Amsterdam guidebook! Thanks for sharing.

I love the straight shot down the waterway here. The arches of all the bridges is really cool. Is that your bike parked on top of the bridge? :) A very well done black and white. Did you shoot this in black & white or did you convert it in an imaging program? Just curious. Thanks for posting this :~)

Wow, great picture. I love seeing some of my country on a site like this!

Dunstickin, just so you know: Amsterdam is the capital of The Netherlands, not Belgium.
