The lighting settings is as good as can be and you have made the most out of it. I really like the framing that the trees make out (the other one I could have done without, but that's just me...)
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour
One of the best ones I have seen from you, Pierre. The lighting is superb. A superb work in RAW. EVERYTHING, all settings...perfect. This is a keeper.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Oh Pierre, how beautiful this is! As always you know exactly how to capture snowscenes.
The shadows, the contrast between them and the dark trees and sunlight, its just
magnificient. The way you were able to show the sunlight cutting right thru those mountains is fantastic my friend! Its so good to know you are out and about again. Im proud to know you are there, and very happy over being able to save this photo and enjoy it on my desktop for a long time. Merci! Verena
Another great image from the Churfirsten, i hope you have more to post from here ! I have only seen the lake and mountains surrounding it in summer, so this is quiet new and refressing to me.
Thanks for this one as well,
Yes, it must have been you, Pierre. The right person in the right place at the right moment. And the result is breathtaking. You know how to capture atmosphere emanating from such picturesque sceneries. Thank you for information about camera settings.
I can feel the crisp air! We are experiencing some strange winter weather here in Northern Ontario. Although we have had a little snow on and off this season, nothing stays on the ground. We had our second green christmas ever, the other one was in 1994. We are experiencing some temps above 0 all week, very unseasonal for January!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
