Lucky for us you got that new lens and are on a 'macro frenzy'! LOL. This is such a lovely post. I think they should have been named Leopard orchids though! Wonderful sharpness.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Pierre. I stumbled across this in my Frieds page, and I figured I should tell you that your macro work is really getting good. It looks like you're applying your non-macro abilities for composition, focus, and exposure to your macro work. This hot has really good depth of fieeld and the colors and coltrasts are excellent. The yellows and browns of the flower against the green bokeh of the background makes a rainforest type of feeling while preserving a strong contrast that isolates your subject against an otherwise busy background.
I didn't see this one in Singapore! Must be one of the few, ha ha... nice shot Pierre, personally I think you could increase the color satuuration to brighten it up a touch, but you know how I am with color...
