Fabulous capture, she looks quite deep in thought which adds emotion to the image. I think the light hitting the womens face is perfect too. Great work.

Cheers.................

The thread she is hanging by is literally in her hand. Her faith seems to be keeping the desolation that is evident in her expression from consuming her.
The age and trials she has traversed have marked her, but her heart is still hopeful as can be seen in the clear gaze of her eyes.
An excellent capture of humanity and empathy. Thank you for reminding me to be more appreciative.

Great journalistic shot this. They ladys face is a great capture of a moment in time and provides a lot of wonderment. A really thought provoking piece.

Thanks all. Taking portraits in these countries is very difficult because of the intense light and many people brings hats... ;-)

Great lighting. Her face is amazing and the red cap is the finishing touch on this wonderful people shot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Yes, me too I like the expression on the face of a woman which indicates she is deep in thoughts but at the same time it suggests her life was not that easy. And watching the portrait I realised we don't have many of them here in Caedes. Double congratulations for you Pierre.

Oh wow. One of my favorites. I love this picture. I love her face...that's an odd sentence to write, but it's the truth. Her face tells so much. Really pulls you into the pictures. Thanks for posting!

What a wonderful capture. She looks both deep in prayer and so sad. I wonder what she is thinking about that puts so much emotion in her very being. She is beautiful and she is going right into my faves.
