I have been following along on your Ubaye series ... they are beautiful winter scenes. I'm enjoying how the blue sky sets off the softly sculpted snowy peaks of the mountain scape. Nice lighting & shadows with the trees in the foreground. Excellent capture Pierre.

Amazing shot Pierre! I love snow and mountains especially when the two are combined. The wind blowing the snow shows the gentleness and delecitness of snow. Once again beautiful shot!

Hello Pierre...there is absolutely nothing that can compare with your snow photos! IMHO !! The lovely shadows and the snow that is blowing off the mountain.plus the lines of the rocks showing thru the snow, that's what good cameras can do, to show that, well, along with the photographer who knows just how to do it!!..the whole scene, how fortunate you were to be at this beautiful place!! I hope you had your snowshoes on good and tight. Thank you my friend, for such wonderful photos you have shared with us. Verena

Hehe! Yes! VERY good snowshoes. More than one meter of snow.
This year, winter was really snowy into the alps.
Thanks Verena :-)

Plant me a cabin right in the middle of those trees, of course, I'd have to have it on stilts or something.... ;)
