This is the Dam I have been bragging about. Not pretty bad for a dam that stood the test of time for 80 years. Isn't it?

Very interesting dam and nice photo. I can't see any difference of water level between before and after dam.

I like the composition, but wonder if a little more contrast or minus gamma would make it stand out a bit more. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I too like the composition and agree with Sandi that a little boost in contrast might be helpful.

It is not the 80 years Prasanth - there are older dams all over the world - but the material and construction do surprise me. Nice shot from a good angle.

A great photo with some deep colors. It's great that it's still standing after all that time.

A nice angle in the photo, Prashanth. Looks like the dam needs a facelift. Good textures and composition in the photo.

I wrote quite a long commentary, Prashanth, but somehow manged to lose it. Basically I said that the shot was very good and suggested "Snapshooter86" as a very knowledgeable photographer who knows how to write a constructive critique. Most of us here on Caedes are amateurs with varying degrees of skill. I agree with Tigs about trying a click of negative gamma. I would also try a half click of positive color saturation. I'd give this a 6.5 out of 10 because it lacks that illusive "Wow" factor.

Im just impressed it made it this far! after 80 years these old dams usuallt fail. Must have been built right. Great shot!

It must have a really fine construction to have held up this long. It always looks hot and hazy to me in these photos. I expect you are used to it though. I am glad that you don't over process your images. The colors are really nice here.

Interesting looking structure, P. Very nice shot. I like the angle of the dam, and the tapered colors in the sky.
