The shading is excellent in this one (accents the colors). The view is great, and the clouds have so much texture (I'm very picky with the way the sky is captured, too).

Needs nothing else.
God alone suffices.

Great composition pal. I think you captured the sky very well, leaving a corner blue while have the disoriented clouds in foreground. At first it made me think you had left more space for the sky but later i realized it wasn't so. Great job
Funny, I'm sitting here drinking a cup of green tea. Is this where it comes from? Everything is soooo green. Southern California is really dry this year, it's only rained once or twice since last May. Things here are nothing but brown. I wish it would rain!!!!............Just a little tech note. I think your in camera processing of this image clipped some of the highlight detail in the clouds. I've seen this in a couple of your images. The Fuji S5500 has 3 contrast levels plus auto, try setting it to the lowest contrast on scenes like this and adjust later in photoshop (it might help don't know until you try it). Unless you like it like this, in which case don't mind me. Take pictures to please yourself first. It's another great shot from you. keep it up.
These tea estates are massive ares of ground Priyantha! I love the geometric shapes that you have shown us. I suspect that is the way the tea is planted? The clouds that are on the horizon add such depth..almost a 3-D aspect to the entire image. Is the tea only grown on these estates and then taken elsewhere for processing? What fun it is to learn something new...thanks for helping to be the teacher. It is much appreciated :~)
Hello Priyantha! How very very beautiful this is!! I just am inlove with these hills filled with teas. I would LOVE to know what kind they all are. Are there signs saying it? Probably not. I love the clouds above all that green. I wish I could grow teas like that. This is just gorgeous, and I am soooo happy you posted this. It sure makes me appreciate tea even more. If you have any close ups of any of this, I would love to see them....verena
Brilliant 'wide open' shot, Priyantha!...You have capture the whole of Sri Lanka into this frame Pal.....great Composition...all I need now is a nice 'cuppa'!
Well Done Bob
Wow, The detail in those hills is amazing. And the couds compliment the green, and fertile landscape well. It's also interesting to see what this kind of crop looks like from above. Well captured and thanks for sharing.
What fine country! I think I can see my parents in law walking around that beautiful place out there, they are having a great time in Sri Lanka as I write this!
Thanks,
Paul
It gives the feeling of the vast open space when viewed in full size. I can almost feel the wind on my chicks. The fields create a very interesting composition of lines and colour.
Wow..there is so much to see here, what a great capture, there is so much detail and so much for my eye to look upon. The view is breathtaking and the billowing clouds adds a perfect touch here. Great work from you!! Thanks for sharing this ;)
wow, cool, a tea estate huh? never seen one before. And this makes me think of Age of Empires II for some reason... superb photo, and high marks indeed!
Hello Pri....Lovely picture...You have composed the photo by organising the elements and individual details of the scene into a balanced and pleasing arrangement...Well done...All the best....Mick.
