I like this for a wallpaper. Nice and simple. Nice clarity on the delicious looking cherries. The dark contrasting background really makes it good.

The only thing i would change is the surface IMO i would look better as an even black surface

Hi Joe. This image has really strong potential. The cherries on a grey background is a fine choice for a still-life. I specially like your arrangement of them. Two, upright. Very nice. Recently I spoke to an artist - a painter who had an outdoor exhibit in New Orleans. He had an image of fruit similar to this one. He said he had experimented with many placements of the image within the frame, and he said it worked best at the lower left 1/3 spot. I don't know if that would improve this image, though, It's very striking as it is.

I think this makes an excellent desktop image...the placement is perfect!
Though I would have to say I'd much prefer a plain, jet black background to emphasise the vibrant shades of red and so there would be no distration caused, either.

what a tastefull cherries and shot.
But the background could be better...I guess a more reflective surface, like dark marble or a mirror so would improve this shot.
never the less....great details and depth, and into my favs
