This would look unbelievable if you would increase the render quality...uh and size. 1600x1200 is the preferred size on this webpage, and also set the render quality in apop to at least 1000. I'm not really an apop person, but, I can tell you the quality is low. :) This look really good, a really good start...and much better than some of mine (all that is).
I render at 2000 quality .. point 3 filter radius .. 1 oversample .... and I render 3200x2400 .... then resize using photoshop
also .. consider rotating this using the last button on the apo toolbar .. click it, then click on the preview image and drag it around till it is horizontal (compared to this vertical) ... that way, you could snug the zoom a little and fill the screen a little bit more ...... (disregard this if you like it vertical)
all in all ... it is a bit minimalistic .. and there's nothing wrong with that .. but the more active, full screen experiences tend to get more attention ... but .. if you asked all apo artists to re-post their first images .. you would find a lot of similar results
the key to apo is ... patience .. and an eye for beauty (what others might find appealing .. as well as yourself) ... be critical of what you post .. it's very easy to post "hey look what I found" type images
Welcome to Caedes .. and the posting world ... keep it up
Bear in mind that I know nothing about the program you used - I like it. You've got a good colour combination there but why such a small size? It would've looked much better at 1600 x 1200 IMO. Good first attempt though. Keep at it.
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
