Wow wonderful shot. I was just looking through your gallery because you were from Iowa too...you have beautiful butterflies! And flowers. And bumblebees. =) This is an awesome shot...everything is very focused and you can see what the bee is doing...these fellers are so funny in the summer around all the flowers at my house. Honestly, I've never worked up the nerve to take a very close picture of them before. lol. They're big and they buzz. I'm not a big bug person, especially when they have stingers! I congratulate you on your bravery. =) Beautiful shot!

Great Macro. Nice depth of field and composition. These little guys don't stay still very long so I know how hard it is to get focused and shoot before he's gone. Well done.

Hi Bob, my goodness sakes, this is one great photo! The clarity, crispness, the sharpness, is stunning indeed! My friend just above me, Russ, is great at shots like this and we have a lot of fun with the bees! I am shocked as to how it is possible to get a shot so clear without any fear at all of the subject, and you apparently have none!!!!
