I found my old pentax bag that dates from about 1980 and decided to replace the film camera body with a digital SLR body. I attached an old 135mm manual focus / aperture lens to the digital body and went to the Butterfly garden. This is one of the captures shot with the old school setup.

Not only a fine and beautiful photo, but it also depicts a variety of butterfly that's probably new to most of us (certainly is to me). Any idea what it's called, Bob?

wow! i've never seen anything like this buttefly. at first i thought it had been hand colored. it is so unique. it's too bad the leaves weren't in better condition. jen

Obviously you have very good lenses for this outfit that are still working well with the new digital body. The blue in that critter is astounding. Very sharp and nice highlights. anne :-)
