What a great shot...it's so close and so clear and you've captured quite the look in his eye and what a great pose..it's like you've caught him being himself, and he can't quite believe that he isn't composed as they usually are..lol...really really great shot :)PJ

Terrific, as always, Rob! You've captured character in this shot as well as the great technicalities. If I could photograph a squirrel even half as good as you do, I'd be a happy camper. Thanks for sending this out!

I think he knows he's being cute. What a lil ham! He looks like a trapeze artist, the way he's hanging over that branch. Super catch of a close up - that nut must be yummy and adds some crunchy texture. Terrific details of this cutie - love those paws with the impressive claws. I think he wants to share his nut with you. Excellent image Robert! Many kudos :*>

You would never get a squirrel to pose like that if you offered a million dollar prize and a vault full of fruits and nuts. That is precious, unique and a keeper.

This is about the best it can get I think with the capture. Such detail and color and clarity. Saw this in the voting booth and wanted to stop by. Sandi

I LOVE it!!!!! I saw this in the new images gallery when I sorted by c-index, and just busted out laughing. The pose this guy is in is just hilarious, it's like he's staring you down with the evil eye but he's too funny-looking for it to really work :).

Thanks for sharing :).
