Far from a high quality image but one of the few where the red really stands out. Equipment used was the Pentax K1 with a Pentax 300mm lens.

That beard sure does stand out, I think it's a good one, I like the wing spread you captured in this one also. I know how fast they are, they are a challenge, but so fun to catch with the lens. tigs=^..^=

Robert, personally I fully expect a hummers wings to blur, one of the fastest moving things on the planet, but I can see that the minuscule creases in the tiny neck feathers on this notoriously small bird are clearly visible, as is the shine spot in his eye. For my money this capture is a 10.
