Male Anna's hummingbird hanging out in a lime tree on the patio. The Anna's are year-round here in Tucson but try to conserve energy in the winter. This guy is one of our 'regulars' and usually doesn't mind us sharing the patio anytime - or, by moving smoothly and slowly, occasionally having lenses aimed at him from about 3'.

Those are both pretty amazing shots there Rick! I've never seen red headed humming birds, ours have green heads and the ones around my house don't really care for cameras pointing at them. Impressive captures :)
