Apophysis, Photofiltre...This is basically a rework of "Aztec Magic". My wife said she liked the colors of this one better. It's amazing how much colors can change the feel of a flame. I thought this had a magical underwater feel to it. I hope you like it!

I love them both, but maybe your wife is right. (Wives generally are.) The other had a fiery, wild look about it; this one is sort of dreamy and mysterious.

What I especially love is when a fractal is beautiful and mysterious *without* any hint of the sinister, and this fills the bill. My desktop for tomorrow.

It does Larry, and you're right the colour I've learned can make all the difference in how you look at an image and what you perceive it to be. Good job bud and your wife has good taste too. :-)

It does have an underwater feel to it. Reminds me of a porthole on a ship I did a dive on several years ago. I love both & you are so right about the colors ... this one is magical. Your wife made a great choice Larry ... excellent work.

Lovely. Just one question: is the portal opening, closing or always that size? It looks too small for beings as big as us - maybe OK for a thin cat, but she'd probably prefer dry land...
