This is my first vision of using our beloved icon-- the shadow stretching across the land. The advantage of doing it this way is that it conforms to the terrain, which in this case is very rock and warped, so the shadow lies along it.

this is a good render, this effect would be difficult (but possible) to mimic using photo manipulation.

I like the idea of portraying this in shadow form, because it gives you the feeling that there is a 'real' Caedes spider hovering above you :). Nice and unique terrain render as well~

If you hadn't guessed I'm in your gallery. Hope you don't mind. You have done a fabulous job with this. The shadow conforming to the terrain makes this look extremely realistic. Sorry I missed this when you first posted it. Glad I found it now.
