As I pointed out to jacked, this spot is in Audubon Park in New Orleans. I attended Loyola University across St. Charles Avenue from Audubon Park during the 80's, and this was one of my and my friends' favorite hang-out spots in the wee hours.
I shot this photo at 6:30 AM. I like sunrises, so I get up pretty early these days. I guess I've changed a bit since the 80's |-)
