No. 2 in the New Orleans Cemetery Series This is the interior of a tomb in a local cemetery. The blue light enters the tomb through stained glass illuminating an angel who kneels at a pedestal with her head down sobbing for the loss of a loved one. I have rarely witnessed such beauty and emotion in my life.

wow, what a dramatic and powerful image.....the angel is suffering so deeply, its making a river of tears in silent....the blue lighthing is seems trying to embrace to much pain, and the angel can't see it, can't feel it....it just suffering without breath....what a powerful feeling and rebels a lot feelings into the hearts.....

This picture gave me goosebumps. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to stand there to take the shot. I love how the blue light filters down... a mix of warmth and sorrow to comfort this saddened angel. What a talented sculptor, and lovely photograph!
