This was taken at the Elizabethan Gardens on Roanoke Island, NC. This variety of hydrangea is very delicate and pretty in person, and I loved the blue color.
This shot steps outside the range of the ordinary flower shot in the composition you used here. The flowers coming in on the bottom right and wandering up and to the left mahes for a pleasing image. The soft color adds to it well, by relaxing the eye as it follows the path of flowers. Finally the clarity of the shot is excellent.
I'll second Regmar and add the angle you shot at. It would have been so easy to get above it and fill the frame but I like that you chose to shoot from this angle to get the flat, table top head of the blooms.
