Great pic! From the thumbnail I thought it might be a digital pic posted by someone playing with perspective, and so it was a pleasure to see a real-life study of perspective! The ripples and the boat add interest and the foreground is nicely defined. Finally, there is just enough blue in the sky to chase away the glooms.

Prachtige sfeeropname John, ronduit schitterend! Ben benieuwd of de 'deskundigen' in de VB er net zo over denken.
Groet, Cornelius
Edit: had hem in de VB, hoefde er niet lang over na te denken!

This is a great shot John. The perspective is spot on and I like how it draws the eye to the spot almost where the barge is. Well done!

Saw this in New Images... I LOVE the twinned perspective in sky and water and the way you've composed it with the house and the boat. Wonderful!

Saw this in featured images and it deserves to be there. I like lines in this one. The row of trees are really great. Reminds me of footage from WWII. Great nostalic post.
