Hard and tough times for the birds this winter John, as it's not that easy for them to find in these snowy conditions sufficient food.
Wonderful picture, with great colours. Knowing that it would be captured by you, think mr. Pheasant is carrying its best 'clothes', lol.

Excellent capture of this pheasant ... I have several that visit my yard during the winter months, but they fly off before I can get a descent capture of them. I sure do like the colors on this bird as well as the natural textures of it's surroundings. Very well done.

Colors and light are perfect.

They sure are a beautiful bird and quite tasty I might add John. There are several around here but not as many as in Iowa which is north of us. They are had to get a closeup such as this. Wonderful shot.

Such a beauty! I love the colors and details of his feathers. When I was a little girl I lived in a home surrounded by country fields and we had families of pheasants living all around. I always thought they were so beautiful.
